Serendipity Salvage heads to Rainbow!

We had so much fun at Jamestown Vintage Flea on Sunday! Good to see all who came out and so happy to make some new friends! We are spending the next few days packing up for the Vintage Marketplace in Rainbow, CA. Located between Temecula and Fallbrook, we will be nestled amongst the trees with 50 other fabulous vendors. Come on down and knock out your holiday shopping with some vintage flair! We will be bringing as much treasure as our truck can hold! You won't want to miss this event! We will be there Friday and Saturday Dec 2nd and 3rd from 9AM to 4PM both days. Support local artists, find the perfect unique gift, or maybe something for yourself! We will be sure to have all the rare bits and piece you will need to make  fantastic creations for everyone on your list!

Next Stop Bead Station!

We are so excited to be heading back to Orange County to one of my favorite bead stores- Bead Station in Lake Forest! There was an error in the date on our blog (crystal's fault sorry!)... We will be there on FRIDAY Nov 18th and SATURDAY Nov 19th from 10-5PM. We are thrilled to bring our treasure to this amazing store that is fill with so much variety! They really have tons of unusual finds :) Jill, Bead Station's owner, is a doll and we can't wait to make some new friends and see some of the familiar orange county crowd! We have been busy hunting this week and will be sure to bring some of new loot! We will see you there!

Serendipity Salvage Heads Back to San Diego!

Serendipity Salvage is thrilled to be heading back down to Bead Gallery in San Diego this weekend! We are going to be there with fabulous treasure for 2 whole days! We can't wait to show you what cool new treasure we have found! We had a little down time after Glitterfest and we have been out on the hunt! We are also looking forward to spending some time with owners Dolores and Julie. They always have something new and fantastic going on in their gorgeous store. It's always a good time! Come on down and join in the fun! We will be there on Friday and Saturday Nov. 4th & 5th from 10-6 both days. Whew! So Fun We Almost Lost Our Heads!!!

I would describe the last day of the bead shop hop at Brea Bead Works as delightful chaos. The day started with us searching for our heads- literally. One of our amazing customers was looking for just the right frozen Charlotte heads for a special class she will be teaching. After a little hunting through our back-stock boxes she picked 13 cute as a button heads. 

Crystal and I were thrilled to meet so many amazing mixed media artists. Brea has an absolutely stunning class schedule with top notch teachers in ALL disciplines. I really mean all. The samples in the store are amazing. I brought home one of the class schedules so I can pick something to attend after Glitterfest. 

We had a really busy day at Brea. I think the words 'feeding frenzy" were used. Crystal and I learned so much about preparing for a busy trunk show. 

1. Bring a calculator with a print out. ( I thought it was me but turns out our pink calculator sucks!)

2. You cannot have too many receipt books or credit card tape.

3. Pack a protein bar. 

4. Always book shows at amazing bead stores like Brea!!

5. Get bags for our ephemera!

We grow and learn with each show and really appreciate all of our customers that come out to see us at each location! We had a raffle this weekend and the winner is Connie Romero!!! The winner for last weekend at San Gabriel is Mary Fleming!!! Congrats!

Heading to Orange County for some good old fashioned fun!!!

We had so much fun when we were at Beadology in August! We got everyone's wheels turning and can't wait to see some of the fabulous fun everyone has made with their goodies :) We are so excited to show you some of our new treasure! We have new Vintage Cabochons, Brass Stampings, Fabulous Buttons, some new cameo designs and so much more!!! We are busy devising a plan to bring as much as we can. If you missed us last time,  hope you can make it this Saturday Sept 17th from 10-5. If we met you last time, we would love to see you again and share our new treasure with you!

Our Biggest Show Yet!

We are SO excited for this coming weekend! Serendipity Salvage is heading to San Gabriel Bead Company in Arcadia for a 3 day show September 9-11th! If you have never been to San Gabriel Bead Company, they are the biggest bead store we know of in the area. They have everything! In keeping in that spirit, we have decided to bring everything we have! We are delighted to have a whole entire room to fill with Vintage and Mixed Media Treasure. We spent most of last week pulling out boxes of cool stuff that we had almost forgot we had! Tons of super cool ephemera, old labels & bottles, old dolls, beautiful buttons, rhinestones, brass stampings & chain, vintage glass cabs...tons of new old stock! You don't want to miss this one! We will be raffling off some goodies for the Bead Shop Hop, so be sure to come by :)

Heading Back to the OC for Jamestown Vintage Flea!

Serendipity Salvage is so excited to be heading back to vend at the Jamestown Vintage Flea Market! 
We have been busy gathering treasure and are bringing it all to you next Sunday Aug 28th from 8AM-3PM. If you haven't made it to this flea market you are in for a treat! We love this Flea because it is manageable unlike some other huge flea markets, and you don't have to get there the night before to find a deal! There are about 50 Vendors all with fabulous fun finds! We can't help but take turns sneaking out of our booth to shop a little for ourselves :) You can cruise this Flea in a few hours and grab a bite to eat from one of the local restaurants in Old Town Tustin. Also don't forget to stop in to see the girls at Whimzy! They do a fabulous job putting together this Flea Market and their shop always has new fun surprises :)
    Come by and see us! Serendipity Salvage will have a great selection of Mixed Media Art Supplies, Cameos, Brass Stampings, Vintage Charms and more! Because we have more space we will also have a lot of items we have been unable to take to our trunk shows. If you know us we have a eye for the good stuff :) Hope to see you there!
